Remember waterboarding? Last month the US Justice Department finally decided that the lawyers that gave justification to the Bush administration to use "brutal interrogation tactics" when interrogating terrorism suspects were "guilty of poor judgment but not of professional misconduct." However, the government doctors and psychologists who authorized and/or actively participated in the interrogations "have escaped discipline, accountability or even internal investigation," according to Leonard Rubenstein and Steven Xenakis (Doctors Without Morals, NY Times, March 1, 2010).
