Mental health consumers advocating for the needs of mental health consumers and groups in Nebraska

To promote communication, education, and self-determination throughout the region and the state

Outreach to consumers and groups of all cultural diversities

To strengthen and maintain self-help and advocacy groups

To offer education to diminish stigma and discrimination

Vision and Values

Vision: The Mental Health Association of Nebraska, a consumer run organization, exists to make changes, to assure choices and to promote equal participation in society for consumers of mental health services and their families.

We believe in EQUALITY which demands that everyone, regardless of ability, has the rights and responsibilities of full participation in society.
We believe that in COMMUNITY there is strength. Affiliates are essential to the success of MHA-NE.
