Mental Health Assocition - Hastings Chapter

The Hastings Chapter was MHA-NE first official chapter and they have been meeting monthly for several years now. They currently meet every third Tuesday and they continue to maintain strong membership. The Hastings Chapter enjoys putting on events such the Halloween Costume Party and a Thanksgiving Dinner which is always well attended as everyone loves the delicious food that is provided. The Hasting Chapter continues to provide education and outreach to mental health consumers in the town of Hastings and the surrounding rural area.

Mental Health Association- Lincoln Chapter

The Lincoln Chapter has been successful with the assistance of a community volunteer wha has helped the identify stratagies to make meetings interesting and relevant. They meet every Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Midtown Center on 2966 O Street. They have recently scheduled monthly pizza parties, card tournaments, and other fun activities and fundraisers.

Mental Health Association - North Platte Chapter

The Association's newest and most prolific chapter is in North Platte, where they enjoy strong support from mentors in the community businesses. The chapter holds regularly scheduled meetings and enjoys many activities including monthly pizza parties and other social events. The recently opened their own MHA Thrift Shop and even built a float for the city's NebraskaLands Parade.
